## Station Information

**Location:** Eastern flank of Cleveland volcano, Alaska

**Installation Date:** May 2023 (AVERT project)

**Instrumentation:**

* NOVAC scanning DOAS with motorised sensor head and UV-sensitive spectrometer

**Data Collection:**

* Continuous SO₂ monitoring during daytime hours
* Scans at multiple elevation angles to create spectral transects through the plume
* One of two scanning DOAS at Cleveland; operating a pair improves 3-D plume volume estimates

**Data Access:**

* Telemetered to AVO in near real time
* Archived at [Cascades Volcano Observatory](https://cvo-valve.wr.usgs.gov/valve3/)
* Available at the [global NOVAC site](https://novac-community.org/data/cleveland) (Chalmers University, Sweden)

* Broadband seismometer
* Single infrasound sensor
* Webcam
