Station Information

Location: Concorde Point, the south-easternmost point of Chuginadak Island, Cleveland volcano, Alaska Installation Date: May/June 2023 (AVERT project). CLCO was a pre-existing AVO site; GNSS was added in 2023. Instrumentation:
  • Tallysman VeraChoke 6100 GNSS antenna
  • AlertGeomatics Resolute Polar receiver
  • Polar mast monument (due to limited solid bedrock exposure)
Data Collection:
  • Position data recorded at two rates: 30 s (standard) and 1 s (high rate)
  • High-rate data only telemetered during events of specific interest to minimize bandwidth consumption
Data Access: Co-located instruments:
  • 5-instrument infrasound array
  • Broadband seismometer
  • Webcam
