The Wee-g micro-gravimeter at Poas produces continuous time series of gravity variations at the VPMI station. These can be interpreted as subsurface mass redistributions when corrected for environmental effects such as Earth tides and atmospheric pressure changes.

Gravity Time Series

Continuous record of variations in the local gravity field at VPMI.

Mass Change Estimates

Interpreted subsurface magma or hydrothermal fluid movements, used alongside GNSS and gas data to constrain volcanic processes.
Gravimetric data from Poas are currently archived at LDEO and are being transferred to the University of Glasgow for processing and analysis.
