Station Information

Location: Southern flank of Cleveland volcano, Alaska Installation Date: September 2022 (AVERT project) Instrumentation:
  • Trillium Compact 120 s posthole analogue seismometer
  • 24-bit Centaur digitiser (Nanometrics Incorporated)
  • Direct burial method at ~1 m depth
  • Aligned with true north using compass compensated for magnetic declination

  • High sensitivity for detecting micro-earthquakes
